Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer in Glasgow to maintain and enhance critical production systems across cloud environments. You will automate processes, improve reliability, and contribute to deployment activities while collaborating with development teams.

The role requires strong AWS and DevOps expertise, with development familiarity in .NET/C# and a proactive, self-driven approach to problem solving in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in AWS cloud environments and DevOps practices.
• Strong automation and proactive monitoring capabilities.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement improvements.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling and IaC practices.
• Knowledge of incident management and post-incident reviews.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain and support business-critical applications and cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure high system availability, performance, scalability and reliability.
• Participate in incident management, root cause analysis and problem resolution.
• Implement proactive monitoring, alerting and observability solutions.
• Reduce operational overhead through automation and self-healing mechanisms.
• Support production releases and deployment activities.
