Job summary

Alecto Recruitment is hiring an Audio Visual Project Manager in Coventry with a hybrid working setup. The role bridges sales/consultancy and installation execution, providing technical leadership and coordinating the install team from start to finish.

You will work to translate client requirements into deliverable AV solutions, conduct site surveys, and manage documentation, with salary in the £40,000–£50,000 range depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Proven background combining technical AV understanding and project management / client liaison.
• Good knowledge of AV systems, displays, projection, conferencing, control systems.
• Strong communication skills, comfortable speaking with clients, internal teams and contractors.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Be the technical point of contact for clients, translating requirements into deliverable solutions.
• Perform site surveys and produce survey reports to feed into proposals.
• Design AV solutions aligned with standards and client budgets.
• Specify equipment and prepare proposal documentation for sales and install teams.
• Coordinate installation teams on site and liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Manage project documentation including drawings, RAMS, change orders, and site drawings.
• Provide on-site and phone technical support during delivery phases.
• Assist with equipment staging and preparation prior to installation.
• Maintain and grow technical knowledge through training and product updates.
