Job summary

Coforge is seeking a Senior Automation Tester in Leeds, UK. This hybrid role involves designing and maintaining automation frameworks using WebdriverIO, and delivering end-to-end, regression, and integration tests. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to CI/CD processes.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with WebdriverIO, Cucumber, API testing, and SQL, plus CI/CD exposure and Agile experience. The position offers a hybrid work pattern with three days in Leeds.

Qualifications

• Experience with WebdriverIO and modern automation frameworks.
• Proficient in API testing and automation.
• Strong CI/CD exposure (Git/Jenkins/Azure DevOps) and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using WebdriverIO.
• Develop end-to-end, regression, smoke, and integration test suites.
• Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to understand requirements.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
• Mentor junior testers and promote automation best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
