Job summary

Aristocrat Gaming is seeking an Automation QA Lead in a hybrid role with a mandatory three days in the office. You will lead the design, implementation, and improvement of scalable test automation across mobile, web, API, and microservices, while mentoring a team of test engineers.

You will work with QA leadership and Development to align automation with CI/CD, exploring AI-assisted testing and modern tooling, and drive best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical area or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven ability to craft and integrate test automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, API tests).
• Experience leading multi-team testing in agile environments; cloud CI/CD experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of scalable test automation frameworks.
• Support roadmaps for automation projects aligned with business goals.
• Evaluate and optimize test tooling, including AI-assisted solutions.
• Collaborate with QA, leadership, and Development to align testing strategies.
• Mentor a team of test automation engineers across mobile, web, API, and microservices.
• Ensure automation guidelines are followed and promote coding standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in automation architecture and tooling adoption.
• Perform code and build reviews; share knowledge and upskill team.
• Produce documentation and diagrams communicating automation strategies.
• Manage automation infrastructure (on-premise and cloud) and third-party tools.
• Lead knowledge-sharing through workshops and demos; stay current with trends.
