Job summary

Christopher Brian Recruitment Limited in Southampton is seeking an Audit Semi Senior or Senior for an established accountancy practice. You’ll work across a range of audits with a supportive environment, clear development opportunities and a defined route to progression.

The role offers hybrid working, full ACA/ACCA study support if required, a friendly and collaborative team, and the chance to advance into senior/manager roles while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in audit within a UK accountancy practice.
• Semi Seniors (1-2+ years) and Seniors both considered.
• ACA/ACCA studying, qualified, or QBE.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• A team player who’s keen to develop.

Responsibilities

• Leading or assisting on audits from planning through to completion.
• Fieldwork, testing, and completion of audit files.
• Liaising directly with clients and building relationships.
• Reviewing work of juniors (Senior level).
• Supporting and mentoring trainees.
• Opportunity to gain exposure to accounts and other areas.
