REED Practice are actively recruiting for an Audit & Accounts Assistant to join a growing Accountancy Practice based in Poole. The role offers hybrid working and a clear progression route towards ACA / ACCA Qualification.

You will assist with audits, prepare statutory accounts, manage reconciliations, and support VAT returns. 1 year in practice preferred; salary £26,000-£32,000 DOE; parking available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in an accountancy practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist with audit assignments, including testing and preparing working papers.
• Support the preparation of statutory accounts for a range of clients.
• Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Assist with bookkeeping, VAT returns, and basic tax compliance work.
• Communicate with clients to obtain information and resolve queries.
• Ensure work is completed accurately and within deadlines.
