Job summary

Checkout.com is seeking an Associate for our Product Control team in London. You will support testing of new products, ensure accurate data flows, and coordinate reconciliations across major trading accounts in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Ideal candidates have ACA or equivalent, 2+ years in reconciliations and month-end reporting, and strong Excel/data analysis skills. The role supports hybrid working with three days in the office.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ACA or equivalent finance qualification.
• Experience in balance sheet reconciliations and month-end reporting.
• Familiarity with IFRS and accounting principles.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis abilities.
• Proactive mindset with data and automation interest.

Responsibilities

• Support testing procedures for new products and data flows, ensuring completeness and accuracy of accounting records.
• Collaborate across Product, Engineering, New Products, and Finance teams.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve data integrity and controls.
• Coordinate reconciliations across key trading balances with FinOps.
• Act as SME to ensure IFRS-compliant balance accounting.
• Create robust, auditable documentation for period-end close and audits.
• Contribute to project work and product development initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to complete audits on time.
