Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Product Controller on a contract basis in London with a hybrid working pattern (3 days on site). The role sits in the Product Control team, overseeing daily P&L reporting for a derivatives desk and liaising with Front Office traders.

You will support month-end close, balance sheet substantiation and P&L commentary for the product group. The ideal candidate has advanced Excel skills, strong knowledge of securities and IFRS/JGAAP accounting differences, and a controls-first

Qualifications

• Must have strong P&L reporting experience for derivatives products.
• Working knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards (IFRS/JGAAP).
• Ability to understand end-to-end accounting processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Daily P&L reporting for derivatives desk, focusing on IRS, CCS and RPI trades.
• Daily XVA, marketing and remote booked P&L reporting with sign-off from desks.
• Develop and maintain IPV process and P&L attribution reporting.
• Post GL journals for daily close and reconcile balance sheets.
