Job summary

National Highways is seeking an Associate Delivery Manager to support the delivery of products and services by helping teams maintain momentum and focus. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to remove blockers, facilitate agile practices and promote collaboration and continuous improvement.

This hybrid role requires two days per week in the office at any National Highways office location. You will develop your delivery management skills through hands-on experience, guided by mentors,

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience planning and organising work across the delivery lifecycle.
• Proactive approach to identifying and raising risks, issues and blockers.
• Some experience working within an Agile team and using Agile methodologies and frameworks.
• Familiarity with delivery tools such as MS Project, Jira, Miro, Azure DevOps, Power BI and Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and coordinating delivery activities, maintaining visibility and momentum across the team.
• Support Agile ceremonies and keep delivery boards, documentation and artefacts up to date.
• Identify and help resolve blockers, escalating risks and issues to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Prepare accurate reporting on delivery progress, risks, dependencies and key metrics.
• Support compliance, service assessments and stakeholder communication in line with relevant GDS/DDaT and National Highways standards.
