Confidential is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant in the Hedge End area. You will coordinate payroll data with an outsourced provider and HR, and support broader finance tasks across management accounts, reconciliations, and reporting.

The role offers hybrid and part-time flexibility, with potential consideration for full-time for the right candidate. You should have varied finance experience, payroll exposure, strong Excel skills, and be studying ACA/ACCA/CIMA.

Qualifications

• Experience in a varied finance role with payroll exposure.
• Comfortable collating, checking and submitting payroll data to an external provider.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with spreadsheet-based processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate weekly and monthly payroll information.
• Liaise with outsourced payroll provider and HR on adjustments.
• Prepare weekly KPI reports and monthly management accounts.
• Conduct variance analysis and balance-sheet reconciliations, including stock.
• Support accounts payable and credit control activities and finance queries.
