Job summary

Moneyline is seeking a proactive junior finance professional to support monthly management accounting and reporting. The role requires strong numerical ability, great attention to detail and proficiency in Excel and accounting software.

You will handle journals, balance-sheet reconciliations, and assist with audits within a hybrid 35-hour-per-week setup at Accrington, Lancashire. AAT qualification or progress towards ACCA/CIMA is desirable, with opportunities to train and develop in a supportive

Qualifications

• Experience in a junior accounting or finance role with high accuracy.
• AAT qualification or working towards AAT, ACCA or CIMA.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly MI and Management accounting packs as part of the month end reporting process.
• Investigate variances to budgets and forecast
• Complete balance-sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
• Assist with audit preparation
• Prepare and post journals
• Support the day-to-day operation of the finance function
