Pratap Partnership is seeking an experienced, part-qualified Assistant Finance Manager in Sheffield. The role offers hybrid working (1 day in the office, 4 days work-from-home) and a path to develop within a lean, growing finance team.

You will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including transactional finance, management accounts, cash flow and controls, while supporting VAT, year-end audits and process improvements. The ideal candidate is studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA or QBE.

Qualifications

• Strong technical accounting knowledge and willingness to take ownership in a fast-moving SME.
• Experience with month-end processes and cash flow management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial operations including transactional finance and management accounts.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow, VAT, and year-end requirements; support with audits and controls.
