Trek Bikes in Milton Keynes is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team. You will support month-end reporting, accounts payable, treasury and compliance while learning across a broad range of finance activities.

This is a proactive, detail‑oriented role that offers growth as accounting knowledge expands. The role is hybrid in Milton Keynes with the chance to develop accounting expertise and pursue a professional qualification.

Formación

• Interest in pursuing a professional accounting qualification is beneficial.
• Experience in finance or accounting is advantageous but not essential.
• Understanding of accruals, prepayments and reconciliations is helpful.

Responsabilidades

• Support month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with accounts payable processes and supplier queries.
• Support treasury activities and cash-flow reporting.
• Help with VAT, PSA, Bikehub and PPT returns and ad hoc reporting.
• Collaborate with wider finance team to develop processes and controls.
