Job summary

Searchability® outside Chester is seeking a Test Engineer to join our technology team, focusing on API and integration testing for a prominent retailer. You will ensure quality across complex integrations and collaborate with developers, architects and stakeholders.

The role requires 2+ years of software testing experience, with strong API testing using Postman and automation using Playwright or Appium. Hybrid working with office presence, along with training and progression opportunities, are

Qualifications

• 2+ years' software testing experience.
• Strong API testing experience, especially with Postman.
• Experience testing integrations across complex systems and applications.
• Experience creating and maintaining automated API test suites.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright and/or Appium.
• Experience with GitHub or similar source control.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute integration, API, regression and non-functional testing across complex systems and third-party platforms.
• Validate data flows between applications and services ensuring accurate, secure and reliable processing.
• Work across synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns and perform advanced API testing using Postman.
• Develop and maintain automated test solutions using Playwright and Appium.
