Infleqtion is expanding its UK physics team and seeking an experimental AMO Physicist to contribute to R&D for future quantum RF sensor systems. You will work with physicists and engineers to design, model, and test complex quantum devices, translating product needs into atomic-scale designs.

You will collaborate in a fast-paced environment, oversee research projects, and contribute to external publications and proposals while growing with the business.

Formación

• PhD in experimental AMO physics (collaborative research environment).
• Experience with manipulating atoms/ions/molecules with light post-PhD.
• Ability to translate product requirements into atomic system designs.

Responsabilidades

• Translate product requirements into atomic system designs.
• Lead high-value research projects.
• Model, simulate, and analytically calculate designs to meet product performance.
• Design and execute testing and verification plans.
• Integrate opto-mechanical systems, electronics, and software into quantum devices.
• Document progress and resolve project issues.
• Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams and meet deadlines.
