Job summary

Oscar is seeking a skilled backend engineer to develop production-ready AI-enabled software. The role focuses on building backend services that support LLM and ML functionality, while integrating OpenAI, Anthropic and other AI models into enterprise software.

The ideal candidate will create scalable APIs and microservices, work with cloud infrastructure to deploy and monitor AI workloads, and collaborate across Engineering, Data and Product teams on new AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering background in Python, C#.
• Experience building cloud-based backend applications.
• Experience with AI, ML or Generative AI in commercial projects.
• Understanding of APIs, distributed systems and scalable architecture.
• Passion for AI and continuous learning of emerging technologies.
