Job summary

Oscar Technology in London is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy autonomous, user-facing AI systems at scale.

You will work on LLM-powered applications, multi-agent workflows, and robust infrastructure, with a focus on production readiness, security, and continuous improvement.

The role requires 5+ years in AI/ML or software development, strong Python, API design, and hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Docker/Kubernetes, and Azure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of AI/ML engineering or software development with production AI deployment experience.
• Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) with strong AI/ML/NLP foundations.
• Strong Python skills, familiarity with Java/Kotlin, and solid API design experience.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, and LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).
• Skilled in prompt engineering and orchestrating AI agents/chatbots.
• Familiarity with cloud AI services (Azure preferred), Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, and monitoring.
• Strong debugging, collaboration, and continuous-learning mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own AI solutions end-to-end, from concept to production and ongoing optimization.
• Architect LLM-powered applications, multi-agent workflows, and autonomous systems.
• Orchestrate LLMs through advanced prompt engineering and fine-tuning.
• Deploy and monitor AI services in production, tracking quality, hallucination rates, and decision accuracy.
• Build scalable, cost-effective infrastructure with automated evaluation and fallback mechanisms.
• Ensure security, compliance, and rapid iteration based on user feedback.
