Job summary

Anthropic, based in London, is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to join Beneficial Deployments (Clinical Development, Rare and Neglected Diseases). You will support nonprofits, research institutes and public-sector funders using Claude to help bring therapies to patients with rare diseases.

Qualifications

• Hands-on clinical development experience designing, running or analysing trials.
• Experience with assessing clinical evidence for decision making.
• Comfort handling biomedical data (literature, omics, patient data).

Responsibilities

• Work with partner trial teams to design and review protocols and analysis plans.
• Build tools to find new uses for approved medicines in rare diseases and assemble evidence.
• Create reusable infrastructure for other institutions to adopt and feed learnings back to product and research.
