Job summary

WWF-UK is recruiting its first dedicated AI & Automation Lead to shape responsible AI use, govern risk, and drive productivity across supporter engagement, fundraising and operations. You will develop the roadmap, prioritise use cases, build business cases and coordinate pilots with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a strong blend of technical expertise and strategic judgment, with a focus on responsible technology and ongoing capability development.

Qualifications

• Experience shaping AI/automation strategy and governance.
• Ability to build business cases and run pilots for scalable solutions.
• Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI and automation roadmap aligned to WWF-UK mission.
• Coordinate pilots, implementations and governance across teams.
• Provide practical guidance, training and support for adoption of AI tech.
• Oversee suppliers, platform costs and benefits; manage risks.
