Job summary

Ardent Social Ltd in Coventry is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). The role focuses on managing contact records, information requests and probation checks within a multi-agency safeguarding environment.

This is not a case-holding role. You will work from One Friargate in Coventry, with an induction period during which office-based work is required; after induction, you may work from home up to two days per week.

Qualifications

• Previous MASH experience is desirable.
• Experience working within a multi-agency safeguarding environment.
• The ability to manage contact records and information requests accurately.
• The ability to contribute effectively to strategy discussions.

Responsibilities

• MASH Practice: Work within a Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub, supporting effective information sharing, analysis and decision-making to safeguard vulnerable children and young people.
• Contact Records: Manage contact records accurately and efficiently as part of the MASH function.
• Information Requests: Manage and respond to information requests in line with the requirements of the service.
• Probation Checks: Undertake probation checks as part of the safeguarding process.
• Strategy Discussions: Attend strategy discussions and contribute to effective multi-agency decision-making.
• Safeguarding: Contribute to processes that support the identification and safeguarding of vulnerable children and young people.
• Multi-Agency Working: Work effectively alongside key professionals within the MASH to support timely information sharing and informed decision-making.
