Job summary

Broster Buchanan is partnering with an established engineering business in Milton Keynes to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant on a hybrid, 37-hour week. The role offers a temp-to-perm path and annual salary of £28,000–£32,000, paid as an hourly rate inside IR35.

The role requires AP ledger experience, good Excel skills, and strong communication. It involves invoice processing, supplier liaison, and supporting the Finance Team in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Payable / AP Ledger is preferred.
• Strong Excel skills to analyse and interpret data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, adaptable and collaborative approach.
• SAP experience would be desirable.

Responsibilities

• Process finance-related emails and clear queries daily.
• Load and process invoices accurately and timely.
• Resolve supplier queries and reconcile supplier statements.
• Set up new suppliers in the system.
• Audit and process employee expense claims.
• Support the wider Finance Team with ad hoc requests.
