Job summary

Affinia Ltd is seeking an Accounts Manager for a hybrid role based in Sidcup. You will lead financial reporting, tax preparation, bookkeeping and VAT return work, with direct supervision of junior staff.

You will work with senior management to deliver statutory accounts, management reports and VAT services, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while maintaining excellent client relationships.

Qualifications

• Working at manager level in a similar role.
• Strong IT/Microsoft abilities.
• Regular use of CCH, Sage, QuickBooks, Xero preferred, but training provided.
• ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
• GCSEs (Maths and English) at level 6 or above.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting assignments and tax preparation.
• Supervise and train junior staff.
• Prepare statutory accounts and VAT returns.
• Review client accounts and discuss results with clients.
• Monitor WIP, billing and recovery rates.
• Consolidate group accounts and corporation tax computations.
