Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join the busy Fixed Assets team within our Finance department in Warrington. This varied role develops your accounting experience while supporting month-end processes and meaningful financial reporting.

You will work closely with Finance, Depot Network and Operations, maintaining accurate asset records, performing reconciliations, and assisting with stock-related reporting in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in management and financial accounting.
• BS reconciliations, accruals and prepayments.
• Self-starter with good time management.
• Motivated and enthusiastic.
• Experience in a busy accounts team.
• Excel skills: lookups and pivots.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly reconciliation of the Fixed Asset Register to the balance sheet.
• Maintain accurate Fixed Asset Register records.
• Assist with month-end, weekly and Board Pack reporting.
• Allocate monthly charges to the Profit & Loss account.
• Support stock count administration and reporting.
• Allocate stock-count charges to the Profit & Loss account.
• Provide finance support across Depot Network and Operations.
• Ensure financial information is accurate and delivered on time.
