Job summary

We are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant at Müller UK & Ireland in Telford on a hybrid basis. The role is a 12-month fixed term contract with 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri) and 3 days on site. You will study towards AAT and gain experience in Fixed Asset work within SAP.

The ideal candidate will have Part-qualified AAT, advanced Excel skills, and solid knowledge of Fixed Assets, with a proactive, accurate mindset and the ability to meet deadlines in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified AAT
• Advanced Excel skills
• Good knowledge of Fixed Assets
• SAP experience preferable
• Must be able to think clearly, deliver quickly and accurately
• Persistent, resourceful, self-motivated and be able to work to deadlines
• Good team working skills

Responsibilities

• Fixed Asset Creations, Capitalisations and Disposals
• Depreciation cycles through SAP
• Asset Under Construction reviews
• Review and transact Inter Company transfers
• General Ledger code clearing down in SAP
• Various monthly journals
• Allocation of hours to Projects
• Monitoring movements on vehicle fleets
• Physical Verifications
• Impairment Reviews
• Assistance with year end audits
• Use of Excel spreadsheets to present and analyse key information
