Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join the Fixed Assets Team within Finance. The role offers hybrid working with a requirement to be in the Warrington Support Office at least three days a week.

You will support month-end processes, maintain the Fixed Asset Register, and assist with reporting to ensure timely and accurate financial information across the network. A proactive, detail‑oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Understanding of management and financial accounting.
• Exposure to balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments.
• Self-starter and able to manage own time.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proven working experience in a busy Accounts Team.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly reconciliati on of the Fixed Asset Register to the balance sheet.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date Fixed Asset Register records.
• Assist with month-end, weekly and Board Pack reporting.
• Allocate monthly charges to the Profit & Loss account.
• Support the administration and reporting of stock counts.
• Allocate stock count-related charges to the Profit & Loss account.
• Provide finance support to colleagues across our Depot Network and Operations.
• Help ensure financial information is accurate, complete and delivered to agreed timescales.
