Job summary

STADA UK |Natures Aid in Preston is seeking an Accounts Assistant on a 6-month FTC to join a busy Finance team. You’ll own the production of accurate financial information, following approved procedures, and help ensure the business has timely insight to perform and grow.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with month-end close and reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel skills (lookups, macros, data analysis).
• AAT qualification or degree in Accountancy; practical industrial experience.
• Clear communication with cross-functional teams and auditors.
• Experience in manufacturing/FMCG and with ERP systems such as Business Central.

Responsibilities

• Drive month-end process including journals, reconciliations, and stock valuation.
• Prepare management reports on financial performance and liquidity.
• Handle PAYE, AEO, Corporation Tax, P11D and pension contributions.
• Coordinate supplier payments and intercompany activities.
• Maintain strong financial controls and support audits.
