Lithia UK is seeking an Banking Accounts Assistant for a 12-month fixed-term contract at Head Office. You will work three days on-site in the Finance Shared Service Centre with two days’ remote flexibility each week, handling banking transaction processing and reconciliations as part of a nationwide retailer network.

Qualifications

• A clear passion to pursue a career in Accounts, no prior experience required.
• Excellent organisation skills with strong attention to detail.
• The ability and motivation to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills, with high computer literacy and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with dealerships, customers and suppliers to ensure clear communication and shared objectives.
• Address and resolve queries from internal and external stakeholders in a timely and service-minded way.
• Process payable entries from bank statements accurately and promptly.
• Reconcile bank accounts daily and review outstanding items with relevant teams to achieve resolution.
• Interpret and clarify banking policies and procedures to teammates.
• Opportunity to undertake an AAT, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
