Job summary

Rutherford Cross is seeking an Accounting Lead for a prominent investment management group in Glasgow. You will own financial reporting, controls, close cycles, and partner with global leaders to support decision-making across entities.

The role requires qualified accountancy credentials, strong IFRS/US GAAP knowledge, and experience leading audits. Hybrid working with a modern city-centre office and discretionary bonus offered.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA credentials.
• Strong IFRS, FRS 102 and US GAAP knowledge.
• Experience coordinating audits and external advisors.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and multi-entity consolidation with board reporting.
• Oversee statutory reporting, audits and technical accounting matters.
• Prepare Board Packs and performance insights for leaders.
• Manage transfer pricing, treasury, cash flow and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain and enhance the financial control framework.
• Drive finance transformation using automation and AI tools.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team and liaise with senior stakeholders.
