Job summary

Taylor Hopkinson, on behalf of a Major Offshore Wind Farm in the UK, seeks a Substation Procurement Manager to lead procurement strategy for onshore and offshore substations, coordinating with internal stakeholders, suppliers and in line with project strategy.

You will manage shareholder approvals, oversee OFTO strategy, prepare commercial documentation for the substations package RFP, and ensure alignment with Engineering, HSSE, Owner's Engineer and Legal teams.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of offshore wind supply chain and related contracts.
• Proven experience in preparing and managing complex RFPs, from inception to award.
• Experience negotiating and awarding high-spend, high-criticality contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of procurement strategy for substations (onshore and offshore).
• Manage shareholder review and approval of procurement strategy.
• Lead OFTO strategy development and advice across the project.
• Prepare commercial documentation for substations RFP and coordinate with Eng/HSSE/Owner's Engineer/Legal teams.
• Work with Legal to prepare FEED contract and EPC(I) Heads of Terms templates.
• Manage RFP process and bidder interface, handling clarifications.
• Lead commercial evaluation and contract negotiations with preferred bidders.
• Coordinate RFP evaluation and prepare award recommendations.
• Manage commercial aspects of FEED contract and support Engineering.
• Lead EPC(I) contract negotiations and award recommendations.
