Job summary

Copeland Limited in United Kingdom is seeking a technician to test and analyse onsite manufactured compressors in our Lab department. You will work with state-of-the-art testing equipment to evaluate performance and sound production while supporting production operations.

The role requires mechanical engineering qualifications (HND/Foundation Degree or NVQ Level 2 Refrigeration, or BTech Level 3) and 2+ years of relevant experience, with the ability to work rotating shifts and strong

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess an HND/Foundation Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline or have NVQ Level 2 Refrigeration with 2 years relevant experience
• Candidates with a B-Tec level 3 or equivalent in engineering with minimum 2 years relevant experience may also be considered
• Be able to work rotational shifts
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral
• Candidates should be self-motivated and willing to participate in team based activities
• Have good problem solving skills

Responsibilities

• Performance and Sound Production
• Audit Verification using refrigeration equipment
• Fault diagnosis and maintenance of refrigeration testing equipment
• Completion of preventative maintenance schedules
• Involvement in continuous improvement activities to improve the performance of existing equipment
• Use of automated testing equipment
• Chemical laboratory testing to support production operations.
