Job summary
Veolia is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician in Stevenage to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, maintain documentation, and supervise subcontractors. The role requires a strong understanding of maintenance tasks, risk assessments, and safety guidelines.
You will be on call and participate in maintenance shutdowns as needed. Offering a competitive salary up to £44,000 per annum plus on call allowance and a company van, this position includes extensive benefits and development opportunities
Qualifications
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC equipment.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and electrical fundamentals.
- Ability to work independently and supervise subcontractors when required.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot problems with HVAC equipment and carry out repairs.
- Complete site documentation before and after work tasks.
- Supervision of specialist subcontractors on site.
- Carry out risk assessments of maintenance task lists and keep them valid.
- Update maintenance task lists and ensure EHS compliance.
- Stand-by on call rota and work around maintenance shutdowns.
- Prepare and manage quotations and works approvals.
