Job summary

Robert Hurst Group Ltd in Hull is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker for our HVAC fabrication team. You will interpret drawings, measure, cut and fabricate sheet metal components, and perform MIG, TIG and spot welding to precise standards.

The role is workshop-based with a 38-hour week, days pattern and overtime/time-and-a-half with Sunday premium. Join a dedicated team focused on safe practices, quality output and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in sheet metal fabrication and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Proficient MIG, TIG and spot welding.
• Competent with fabrication tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings, diagrams and route cards.
• Measure, mark out, cut and fabricate sheet metal components.
• Carry out MIG, TIG and spot welding as required.
• Use hand tools, power tools and equipment safely.
• Assemble sheet metal components into HVAC units.
• Assist with installation of electrical and refrigeration components.
• Maintain quality, records and safety standards.
