Job summary

Robert Hurst Group Ltd in Hull Bridge is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician specializing in refrigeration and manufacturing. The role covers assembly, installation, testing and fault-finding of refrigeration systems within a production environment.

You will interpret technical drawings, work with design engineers, and manage your workload to meet project deadlines. Occasional travel to client sites UK, offshore and internationally may be required.

Qualifications

• Current F-Gas Category 1 certificate.
• Refrigeration handling qualification at RQF Level 2 or equivalent.
• RQF Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Install project-specific refrigeration pipework and fit HVAC system components.
• Interpret refrigeration drawings, diagrams and manufacturing route cards.
• Carry out brazing and refrigerant handling in accordance with F-Gas regulations.
• Diagnose faults, identify problems and complete repairs and corrective work.
• Conduct factory acceptance testing (FAT) and adjust systems to achieve optimal performance.
• Complete manufacturing, testing and quality documentation accurately.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Work alongside HVAC design engineers on system design and operation.
• Apply insulation and assist with general assembly and manufacturing duties.
• Support apprentices and colleagues with training and technical guidance.
• Follow company health and safety procedures and relevant industry standards.
