We are now looking for a Thermal Engineer to join our team in The South of England.

What will you do in our team?

• Respond professionally to all assigned service calls while on duty.
• Perform all work safely and in accordance with company safety policies.
• Follow current codes of practice and legislation relevant to assigned tasks.
• Assist in maintaining a planned maintenance completion rate of at least 90%.
• Help schedule, plan, and close work orders using established workflows.
• Keep the scheduling team informed of schedule changes and job statuses.
• Submit daily paperwork accurately and promptly; debrief jobs at customer sites where possible.
• Report sales or service leads to the appropriate department.
• Support the company's vision and management decisions.
• Adhere to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 processes.
• Follow all Vertiv processes.
• Maintain the company vehicle in a clean and proper condition.
• Protect and calibrate all tools and company property issued to you.
• Work collaboratively within the service team to meet business needs.
• Maintain a positive influence among peers.
• Provide onsite technical assistance with challenging problems.
• Assist department managers, sales staff, contracts engineers, and managers with daily operations.
• Attend customer meetings as required.
• Ensure activities related to Export Compliance, Import Compliance, EU Arrivals and Dispatching, and Supply Chain Security are performed in full compliance with company regulations.

What will make you successful?

Relevant experience in a technical service environment with thermal equipment or similar is preferred, but the right personality is equally important.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Self-motivated with strong planning, organizational, and time management skills; able to work under pressure.
