Job summary

Solutions Engineering Recruitment is seeking a Project Coordinator to support delivery of commercial HVAC and mechanical projects in Preston. You will help keep projects on time, working with engineers, clients and suppliers to ensure smooth execution.

The role offers a clear path to progression into Project Management or Contracts Management, with full training provided and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of Building Services, HVAC or mechanical systems.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Competent with Microsoft Office and digital job management systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate commercial HVAC and mechanical projects from start to finish.
• Prepare project documentation, including RAMS and O&M manuals.
• Support Health & Safety and CDM compliance.
• Schedule engineers, subcontractors and materials.
• Update CAFM/job management systems and maintain project records.
• Assist with procurement, quotations, cost tracking and invoicing.
