Job summary

NG Bailey Group Limited in London seeks a Mechanical Supervisor to oversee maintenance of a new commercial building on a long-term client contract based in Moorgate, EC2Y.

The role involves supervising a mechanical team, ensuring safety, quality assurance and accurate documentation, with hands-on duties on HVAC systems and pipework, and using BMS/CAFM tools to support fault diagnosis and job delivery.

Qualifications

• NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 - Plumbing, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning 6187 or similar.
• Electrical qualifications (Would be a bonus, but not essential).
• Experience in electrical and mechanical aspects of building services.

Responsibilities

• Adherence to Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) and ensure engineering team complies.
• Maintain QA records and documentation for mechanical/HVAC plant.
• Supervise team, conduct safety briefings, reviews, and timesheet approvals.
• Support fault diagnosis and setup with BMS and control systems.
• Repair and maintenance of HVAC plant and associated pipework to high standards.
• Utilise CAFM system to capture work output and plan quoted works.
