Job summary

Linaker is seeking a multi-skilled HVAC/Gas Engineer to join its national team, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across commercial sites. You will ensure HVAC and gas systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with legislation and client requirements.

Responsibilities include PPM tasks, servicing of boilers, AHUs and pumps, fault-finding, and producing accurate quotations while maintaining documentation and compliance. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent.
• F‑Gas Category 1 and core gas safety qualifications.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• City & Guilds COCN1, CCN1, and related gas safety certifications.
• Experience with larger complex sites and critical plant systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in line with SFG20 and contract specs.
• Maintain and service HVAC and gas plant including boilers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps and fans.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs within SLA, with first-time fix where possible.
• Ensure works comply with Gas Safe and F‑Gas regulations and document compliance.
• Prepare accurate quotations and manage van stock, tools, and on-call duties.
