Job summary

OCS is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to perform PPMs and reactive maintenance on commercial heating, cooling, and related systems across client sites in the UK. You will diagnose faults, carry out servicing, and document maintenance activities to ensure safe, compliant operation.

Candidates should have NVQ Level 3 in HVAC, F-Gas Cat 1, and a full UK driving licence; ACS Commercial Gas is desirable. Roles involve on-site work with a focus on reliability and professional service.

Qualifications

• HVAC systems knowledge and fault-finding expertise required.
• Experience with air conditioning and building services is essential.
• Familiarity with HVAC plant, AHUs and commercial heating systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on commercial buildings and plant equipment.
• Conduct routine servicing, inspections, and testing to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Diagnose faults and carry out reactive repairs to minimise downtime and disruption to clients.
• Work on a range of commercial heating systems and AC equipment.
• Identify potential issues before major failures and recommend remedial works.
• Respond to breakdowns and emergency call-outs professionally and promptly.
• Complete detailed service reports, maintenance records, and compliance documentation.
• Carry out HVAC reactive works, mechanical faults and general maintenance repairs.
