Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Doncaster is seeking an HVAC Multi Skilled Engineer to join our team. The role covers both electrical and mechanical maintenance across plant, equipment and building services, with an emphasis on VRV/VRF systems and compliant F-Gas handling.

You will identify risks, manage the BMS-driven environment, supervise subcontractors, participate in on-call rota, and help ensure safe, efficient operation of facilities for our client.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship completed or time-served in HVAC maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding skills with HVAC systems.
• Qualified to City & Guilds standard; multi-skilled in electrical and mechanical work.
• Experience supervising contractors and planning activities.
• Ability to prepare RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements).
• F-Gas certification and refrigerants experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage risks on site equipment and plant performance.
• Manage environmental conditions via the BMS system and ensure efficiency.
• Fault-finding on HVAC plant, including VRV/VRF systems.
• Work safely with refrigerants in line with F-Gas requirements.
• Supervise subcontractors and liaise with the onsite team.
• Participate in an on-call rota and prepare documentation.
