Job summary

Workshop Recruitment is seeking an HVAC Engineer to install, maintain, repair and commission HVAC systems across commercial, industrial and infrastructure environments in the Hampshire/West Sussex/London area. Permanent role with on-site duties and an on-call rota (1 in 5).

You will work from a base in the UK, carrying out maintenance, servicing and fault finding on heating, ventilation, air conditioning and extraction equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and customer

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' HVAC industry experience.
• Experience servicing and maintaining commercial HVAC systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Knowledge of air conditioning, heating, ventilation and extraction systems.
• Valid F-Gas certification.
• Full UK driving licence; a clean licence is not essential.
• HVAC qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 or 3, or equivalent experience.
• Professional communication skills and the ability to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Install, service and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning and extraction equipment.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
• Test and commission HVAC equipment and ventilation systems.
• Interpret technical drawings and equipment specifications.
• Complete accurate service reports and maintenance records.
• Follow relevant regulations, procedures and health and safety standards.
• Liaise professionally with clients, site representatives and colleagues.
