Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to perform Planned Preventative Maintenance and reactive repairs on commercial heating and AC systems across the site. You will complete service reports and compliance documentation while ensuring safe, efficient operation.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in HVAC or equivalent, F-Gas Category 1, and a full UK driving licence, with ACS Commercial Gas qualifications desirable. Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30, on-site position.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on commercial buildings and associated plant equipment.
• Conducting routine servicing, inspections, and testing to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out reactive repairs to minimise downtime and disruption to clients.
• Working on a range of commercial heating systems and AC equipment
• Identifying potential issues before they become major failures and recommending remedial works where necessary.
• Responding to breakdowns and emergency call-outs in a professional and timely manner.
• Completing detailed service reports, maintenance records, and compliance documentation using electronic or paper-based systems.
• Carrying out HVAC reactive works, mechanical faults and general maintenance repairs

Experience Required:

• Air Conditioning experience (essential)
• Previous facilities management or building services experience
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, AHUs and commercial heating plant
• Excellent mechanical and HVAC fault-finding skills
