Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd is seeking an HVAC Engineer in Bristol to join a leading HVAC company with 6 regional offices. You will service, fault find and repair VRV/VRF, split units, chillers, AHUs and cold rooms across client sites.

The role offers a basic salary of £40,000-£50,000 DOE, a company van (optional personal use), a profit share, 40-hour weeks, overtime at 1.5x and travel paid after 30 minutes each way, plus pension and generous holidays.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship served within the air conditioning industry (Not Essential)
• Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
• 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas)
• Full Driving Licence
• Experienced with service, maintenance, fault finding and repair
• Live in the Bristol area

Responsibilities

• Servicing, fault finding and repairing air conditioning systems (VRV/VRF, Split Units, Chillers, AHUs & Cold Rooms)
• Travel to client sites as required
• Ensure high standards of workmanship and safety

Location: Bristol

HVAC Engineer required in Bristol for our client, a leading HVAC company that has 6 regional offices and has been expanding since it formed over 20 years ago. They offer their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC equipment.

Their client base consists of long-standing client relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison & more.

HVAC Engineer Position – Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary £40,000 - £50,000 DOE
• Company Van – Optional Personal Use of the vehicle
• Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months’ service – Up to £3,600 tax free
• Overtime paid at 1.5x
• 40 hour working week, travel paid after 30 mins each way
• On call allowance (1 in 4/5, £1,200 guaranteed – if called out Travel Paid door to door)

• 22 days’ holidays plus bank holidays this will increase to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years.

The HVAC Engineer must have a proven track record with servicing, fault finding and repairing air conditioning systems, namely VRV/VRF’s, Split Units, Chillers, AHUs & Cold Rooms.
