About The Role:

We are seeking a skilled HVAC engineer to join the static OCS maintenance team at a prestigious global headquarters in Watford. You will be part of a team of five managing the campus.

Your responsibilities will include planned and reactive maintenance on-site, managed by the M&E Manager. Experience in a corporate environment and familiarity with CAFM systems is desirable. As the Mechanical Lead, you will oversee all HVAC-related work, supported by the mobile team and supply chain. You will also escort subcontractors on-site; training for Access Permit duties will be provided.

The role's standard hours are Monday to Friday, 7 am - 3 pm, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch. Overtime and an on-call rota (1 week on, 3 weeks off) are part of the role, with standby fees paid.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain cooling and heating systems in compliance with legislation and SFG 20 guidelines.
• Support contract management by escorting contractors and ensuring safe, compliant work practices.
• Complete all tasks to high standards and ensure proper documentation.
• Assist other maintenance team members to ensure continuous site operation.

Candidate Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 qualification in plumbing, heating, and ventilation.
• F-Gas Category 1 certification; commercial gas experience is a plus but not essential.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• Experience in a corporate setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Customer-focused with good communication skills.
