We are currently seeking an experienced Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Service Engineer to join our client in the Midlands. The client is a leading supplier in the UK HVAC market, operating nationwide from their locations in the East and West Midlands, focusing on servicing and maintenance of HVAC equipment.

This is a field-based role serving both the East and West Midlands, requiring travel within these areas. Candidates should reside near one of the company bases to attend there as needed. Main responsibilities include installation, servicing, fault finding, and repairing HVAC systems at client premises, ensuring total customer satisfaction.

Duties

1. Service & Maintenance of air conditioning, ventilation equipment, and chillers
2. F-gas compliance checks on various A/C systems
3. Fault-finding and diagnostics of air conditioning systems
4. Accurate and timely reporting of work undertaken
5. Completing work safely and competently
6. Providing suggestions for system improvements and energy efficiency to clients and the office team
7. Evaluating systems for new and revised maintenance jobs to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role, with skills in installation, fault finding, and repair of HVAC systems. It is essential to have F-Gas Level 1 certification and preferably Gas Safe certification. A full, clean driving license is also required.

Candidates should have experience working in customer-facing roles, able to communicate diplomatically at all levels. This position offers an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding market leader with attractive benefits and growth prospects.
