Job summary

WR Engineering is seeking an HVAC Engineer in the Northampton area. You will engage with customers, survey sites and, where possible, design bespoke HVAC systems to meet client specifications. A background in ventilation, air conditioning, heating or refrigeration is preferred.

The role involves site surveys, design and sizing, procurement and supervision of installers, and ensuring ISO9001:2015 quality processes. Hybrid working is possible with regular days in the office.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC contractors or projects.
• Ability to design and size HVAC systems.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Handle projects from customer enquiry to installation; follow up enquiries, site survey, design & size ventilation systems, procurement, manufacturing, managing sub contract installers.
• Respond to telephone and website enquiries.
• Visit customers to survey and build and maintain relationships, explaining technical capability of systems.
• Design and size systems to client specifications.
• Plan, organise and supervise suppliers and installers.
• Manage installations and all associated project documentation.
• Support preparation of RAMS, method statements and technical paperwork.
• Ensure the Quality Management System meets ISO9001:2015 standards.

Job description

HVAC Engineer required. A background in surveying, customer visits and ideally ability to design system is required. An installer or service engineer background could be suitable.

Background must be either: Air conditioning, Ventilation, Heating or Refrigeration.

Package: circa £40K - £50K + car or allowance

It is likely you have worked for a ventilation, air conditioning or heating contractor as a designer / surveyor, contracts manager, sales engineer or similar and able to design bespoke HVAC systems.
