HVAC Engineer

Location: Birmingham and the surrounding areas

Salary: GBP38k – GBP42K + Company van, 25 days holiday, birthday off, and bank holidays

Are you a skilled HVAC Engineer with experience in planned and reactive maintenance? Are you comfortable carrying out small remedial works and minor installations?

We are working with a growing facilities management company that services both commercial and domestic properties across the Midlands. Due to several new contract wins, they are looking to expand their team with an experienced HVAC Engineer.

As a mobile HVAC Engineer, you will cover Birmingham and surrounding areas (including Coventry and Leicester), providing maintenance across commercial properties, including plant rooms and communal areas.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Planned and reactive maintenance on HVAC plant
2. Fault finding and basic repairs to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
3. Water temperature checks and legionella testing
4. Working on pumps, motors, AHUs, FCUs
5. General plumbing tasks (e.g., TMVs, flushing, like-for-like replacements)

What We’re Looking For:

We are open to candidates from various backgrounds, as long as you are confident in the commercial building environment. You might be:

• A Commercial Plumber
• A Mechanically or Electrically qualified Engineer
• A Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer

Essential Qualifications:

• Qualification in Mechanical (HVAC, Gas, Plumbing) or Electrical (Level 2+)
• Previous experience in commercial building or plant room maintenance
