Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking an HVAC Technical Design Estimator in Brierley Hill for a permanent, hybrid role. The position offers a salary of £30,000–£35,000 and a 37.5-hour week Monday to Friday, with an early finish each Friday.

Responsibilities include designing commercial heating solutions from contractor specifications, site surveys when required, and creating accurate customer quotations. You will support internal and external customers on product operation and guidance.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in technical/sales design within HVAC
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Excel/Word for quotations and specifications

Responsibilities

• Design commercial heating solutions from consultant/spec data and heat loss calculations
• Carry out site surveys to qualify information before design
• Create customer quotes and provide technical guidance to customers
• Progress quotations under supervision to convert them into orders
• Liaise with inside sales to pass leads and support sales opportunities
