Job Title: HVAC Contract Manager

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Dependant on experience

Location: Bolton / Hybrid Working

We are looking to recruit an HVAC Contract Manager for our growing department and fast-paced business. This role will involve negotiating, managing, and executing contracts for the business, ensuring all contracts align with the company's vision and regulatory obligations.

Roles and responsibilities:

1. Effective day-to-day management of maintenance contracts.
2. Managing engineers daily.
3. Creating harmonised designs that meet programme and budget requirements.
4. Serving as the primary client contact, ensuring effective collaboration with consultants and addressing client change requests.
5. Embracing detailed design levels at each stage, proactively addressing challenges and informing senior management.
6. Supervising contract execution to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and governance.
7. Managing sites to ensure contracts are completed on time and within budget.
8. Monitoring subcontractors to ensure a valued service.
9. Producing project plans.
10. Liaising with clients, subcontractors, stakeholders, and employees to ensure smooth contract delivery.
11. Coordinating and supervising staff working on projects.
12. Providing quotations and sourcing materials.
13. Carrying out general contract administration.
14. Providing Risk Assessment Method Statements for clients.
15. Implementing and managing H & S plans.
16. Liaising with auditors, providing required information, and addressing queries.
17. Following procedures to ensure policy and process compliance.
18. Identifying new business lines and tendering for new projects/contracts.
19. Covering Managers' call-out rota when required.

The above duties are not exhaustive but provide an overall view of the position.

The ideal candidate:

1. Minimum of 5+ years experience in HVAC, commercial plumbing, and pipe fitting sectors.
2. Proven success as a Mechanical/HVAC Designer.
3. CAD designer experience is highly sought after but not essential.
4. Site experience is preferable.
5. Experience managing a team for at least 3 years in a supervisory/leadership role.
6. Ability to meet strict deadlines.
7. Experience working as part of a team.
8. Ability to prioritize workloads.
9. Proficient in MS Office.
10. Effective, diligent, and courteous work ethic without constant supervision.
11. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
12. Ability to follow instructions.
13. Holds a full and valid Driving Licence.
