Job summary

ISS Ltd. seeks an experienced Electrical Supervisor with a strong HV background to oversee works on a BES site in Coldstream, Scotland. You will supervise electrical teams on SPEN-controlled projects and ensure compliance with safety and technical standards on HV systems up to 400kV.

This CIS-paid contract role offers long-term project opportunity with immediate start. You will coordinate with Site Manager, manage RAMS and permits, and drive a culture of safety on site.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising electrical teams on SPEN sites.
• Strong High Voltage experience up to 400kV.
• CSCS/ECS card holder with active qualification.
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
• AP/SAP experience considered advantageous.
• Temporary Works knowledge helpful.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical installation and maintenance works on HV substations.
• Ensure compliance with site safety rules and SPEN procedures.
• Oversee operatives and subcontractors on site.
• Deliver daily briefings and toolbox talks.
• Monitor quality of work and adherence to project specs.
• Coordinate with Site Manager and stakeholders.
• Maintain RAMS, permits and progress reports.
• Promote a strong health and safety culture.
