AECOM is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the HV Substation Design team for UK & Ireland, offering a hybrid work model from Dublin. You will contribute to primary plant layouts, equipment specs, and HV design input across major infrastructure projects.

Ideal candidates have degree in Electrical Engineering with experience in HV projects and substation design, including control systems, GIS/AIS switchgear, and multi-discipline coordination. English fluency and driving license are preferred.

Qualificações

• Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Some experience of working on HV projects.
• Experience as a designer or project engineer is desirable.
• Experience developing specifications for substation control systems, transformers, GIS, and AIS switchgear.

Responsabilidades

• Produce primary plant layouts for HV substations.
• Provide equipment specifications for HV plant and associated equipment.
• Contribute engineering design input to major infrastructure projects.
• Support Owners’ Engineer activities on HV substation, cable and OHL projects.
• Input HV design for renewable energy projects (Battery storage, Solar, Hydro, Wind).
• Gain mentorship from senior engineers within a collaborative team.
